I like his size and legs (when he is healthy). I read a quote that coming out of high school- Purdy was ranked 5 spots ahead of him as a dual threat qb.

Maybe just to "practice" the recruiting pitch.

I have seen a few of them that have been shared and they are super detailed, they show how they are going to help "you" get your stats, to become all conference, AA, draft pick, whatever...

Maybe they figured it was better to bring him in, pitch it, and see how it goes even if they were not 100% sold on the guy?

No gonna lie, pretty surprised by this. The initial report about his visit was misleading but it really sounded like Hornsby was pretty popular.
