Quarterback Picture

Just for those who are worrying, Cody is listed at 6'4, 225. Not fat, by any stretch of the imagination.

Good to hear Green didn't "Chase Daniel" it.
But Chase Daniel definitely does "Green" it.

I read a national sports article somewhere i cant recall, and i cant get the link, but Brion Carnes was stated as possibly turning out to be the biggest recruiting steal in recent memory, that it was a crime he was not as highly tauted as some others.
He looks pretty damn sharp right here:

after watching his video he looks great but his throwing motion seems weird to me but it works. it looks like when he thows the ball it takes no effort to get it where it needs to go. does that make sence?

I've always kinda thought he had a...different...throwing motion. Not necessarily bad o a big deal, it's not like we're known for sending QBs to the NFL

Tebow had a terrible throwing motion and he did ok

I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep yet over a throwing motion. No one has convinced me yet that we're a 30-40 attempt per game team anyway. I'm thinking we're more of a 15-25 attempt per game team. I'd say we're a lot closer to seeing a NU QB have a 1000/1000 season than we are seeing a NU QB pass for 3500 yards a season. Time will tell.

The play at 5:25 reminds me of his cousin.

good grief brion looks difficult to tackle. or even touch for that matter.
and who in the hell is that #1??

#11 has a great ability to go up and get the ball. Man, they had a lot of talent on that team.

Ace Sanders was #1 on that team, he signed with South Carolina after defecting from USF (like Carnes) when the coach got fired. Carnes, Sanders and Blakely (he's in the 2011 class) were/are all rated as 4* players for Manatee, and another WR (#11) Bundrage will probably go somewhere decent after this year as well. He's already got offers from Iowa State, Cincy, and Marshall. Blakely (#7 in that video) is a RB who's got offers from Florida, Miami, Iowa, N Carolina, Auburn, Clemson, etc...

That team was/still is stacked.
