Question for deer hunters

what do you pack along to clean yourself up after you clean the deer in the field?

I always end up with blood to my elbows and am looking around in the cold for something to clean up with. A dry rag really doesn't cut it.

That's what I usually do too, but it never fails, I get blood all over me while throwing the deer into the back of the truck.

Coca Cola followed by water. Coke also works really well to get blood off of concrete if you cut your deer up in a garage or something.

Interesting ideas. Especially the coke.

Where we hunt there sometimes is a pond to wash up in but it was so friggen cold they were all frozen solid. Luckily I had about a half thermos of coffee left. We tried buying some sanitary wipes but they were frozen too by the time we needed them.

we take up to 10 deer a season in our house. its down to a science. no blood on me except on my shoes. just rubber surgical gloves.and some homemade blades.
