Wow, that it is weird. Herian hasn't played football for a year and a half but is first team. Plus they have Carriker as a second teamer. WOW. :WTH

My sentiments exactly. On most publications I have read, Carriker is a lock for a top 10-15 pick in next year's draft and an all american. But yet there are 2 defensive ends in the big 12 better than him. OOOOOOOOOOOK.

Those Sporting News writers have to be on crack, there's no other explanation.

:moreinteresting

Here's the crack hamster.

I also agree that Adam Carriker and Matt Herian should trade places (although I would also love to see Matt make first team All-Big 12). However, I almost think the real mistake in that publication might be Zac Taylor's missing name. Considering the Big 12 does have some good quarterbacks, I could see him not making first team All-Big 12 (although I think he will), but that he's not on the second team is almost insulting! I can easily see us appearing in the Big 12 championship game and I don't think it's too much of a stretch to have us winning it. I'm sure the number of Huskers on those two lists will increase by the time we play our BCS bowl game!

:WTH <-- first impression

BUT it could be sweet if most poeple thought that way because at the end of the year they are going to eat their crow.... they wont know what hit them... I like to think we will have a LB or two on there.... Mckeon? Octavien? possibly Bowman? (octavien and bowman i understand not being there because they didnt prove a whole lot last year, but i think this year will be diff.) and then i think ZT will at least be 2nd team. cmon line let zt show callahans offense at work.

:yeah The only cracks the writers need to get off are the butts and watch some of the practices. Freakin' maroons.

Carriker, McKeon and ZT all deserve the props Herian needs to show something to prove he's back. I hope he does. I also think one of our backs should be one the list or will be at years end.

GBR

:WTH This is really weird I still can't believe that Carriker isn't first team these people are screwing with my head and everything I know!!!

Bret Meyer 1st team :rollin don't get me wrong hes pretty good but I think Bomar should be 1st and Taylor 2nd or vice versa

um... :yeah that doesn't make any sense to put Meyer in front of both of them.

Did this moron go to the Beno Cook school of "college football talent analysis"? :bat
I don't think so, if he did he'd try to put a bunch of players from Penn State and Notre Dame on the Big XII list.
