Ranking The Big Ten West

Right now this is how I would rank them.

1.  Wisconsin

2.  Iowa

3.  Minnesota

4.  Nebraska

5.  Purdue

6.  Illinois

7.  Northwestern

Teams I see trending up:  Minny, Purdue and Illinois

Teams I see staying the same:  Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska

Teams I see trending down:  Northwestern

No reason to put Minny ahead of Nebraska. And Iowa doesn't look good. I'd put them:

1. Wisconsin

I don't have a problem with Purdue at 2...they could be 2-0 and ranked right now.  That hire seems like an A+

Leave the conference Tier: Illinois Northwestern

Here is an idea for Eikhorst. He can petition the BIG for awarding participation trophies.

It'd have a blank space to scribe the actual place you finished up in.

He could then claim we're winning conference titles and fans could see the results-I'd say its a win-win situation.

+1 - of all the new coaching hires, i thought he was the best of the bunch - Purdue is looking very good.
