Ok, finally found where I did read it: In the end, Blakely’s high school position coach – former Gators back Rod Frazier – said Blakely got homesick.

Decent read there. Think the "homesickness" may be a byproduct of being injured and not participating with the team. You know a little isolation feel for the guy. That I guess could lead an 18 year old kid to miss home. If that is truely the case USF it is for him.

However, still say it is a lot more about Weis' offense. Even your article says Mike has came out and said that.
