According to Rivals, he's 5'10, 190 lbs and benches 450!Scout: "Call this a coming out party for Onyechi. After being sidelined for his entire junior season to injury, Onyechi wanted to make big things happen for his senior season. In Week 0, he hit the ground running literally gaining 203 yards and three touchdowns in win over Jersey Village."

:yeah this is another of the criticisms of the Mack Brown approach to recruiting. They miss out on these guys who for whatever reason (injury, behind seniors, etc.) didn't contribute as underclassmen and have huge senior years. There are also those who disappoint enough during their senior years that they get downgraded, but Texas is pretty much on the hook to take them.If there is a silver lining in not having that many commits it's that we can take runs at guys that come out of the shadows and blow-up their senior seasons. Like last year, Midddleton had gotten injured his junior season and lost his starting-job but went gangbusters as a senior, and he's looked damn good thus far in Lincoln. Also, there is that wr we offered late after he blew-up in a Louisian all-star game that unfortunately Mizzou got, evidently he's turned heads in Columbia already.
Then their loss will be our gain.:yeah this is another of the criticisms of the Mack Brown approach to recruiting. Hopefully Onyechi is one of those guys that Texas misses out on.
