RB yards/distribution

Eric the Red

Team HuskerBoard
The Huskers have split work between Marlon Lucky, Brandon Jackson, Cody Glenn and Kenny Wilson. The back with the smallest number of carries, Wilson, has only 10 fewer than the back with the most, Lucky.
Lucky averages 68 yards a game, Glenn 56.3, Jackson 51.7 and Wilson 44.4.

I know, I didn't realize it was "that" even. Cally even mentioned he wishes Kenny got more carries against KSU.

As much as it seems even, it really isn't for each game. Overall it is, but look at the last few games. BJax has been the guy for the last 2, with Glenn splitting carries with him in ISU, and Lucky splitting them last week. Wilson hasn't had a big game since Troy, and before that we saw very little of BJax. It was mainly Lucky for those first few games.

Gentlemen, that's 220+ yards for the 4 I-backs per game. At this pace, NU will end up with over 3,000 yards rushing for the season. What a difference a year makes.

That is probally how it is going to be for the rest of the season. It is just too difficult to get all four even carries throughout the game especially if one of them has a hot hand.

I think Wilson will be used a lot this week because of his toughness and speed. So will Glenn. These guys are going to be pounding the rock in the middle. I think this will set up the play action with Taylor.

:yeah I agree with ya. I think Cally was "saving" Kenny Wilson for Texas. Best blend of power & speed out of our Quadzilla I-Back.

Whatever back they put in on Saturday is fine with me. They all are very talented backs and will run on anybody. I was watching some Nebraska clips on youtube.com and Im ready to go rightnow. Watching Glenn punish the defense. ZT making outstanding throws, and the Blackshirts reaking havoack like the old. We had an opprotunity to do it against the USC f**s and failed. Lets this saturday and make a statement :restore

We'll be lucky to get 100 this week. Texas is very good
