Reasons Why I'm Glad He's Back . . .

This players on this team have heart, but are led by a clown. They deserve better, but will never say anything like that, because of foxhole mentality. Sure Pelini showed fire when he got the Unsportsmanlike, but he also left you in the lurch with 15 yards of penalty in a crucial moment. How can they take him seriously when he gets visibly angry at them on the sidelines for doing the exact same thing?

Are you cooool man?

It's funny to see how some of you are treating this moment as a fingers-on-a-chalk-board moment. I've got news for you. You can sit here and belly ache for the next year, or you can get behind the man. Nobody gives a rats backside if Bo bombs next year and you come back and say, "I told you so." It's not about "I told you so." It's about getting behind the team. The decision has been made to keep the guy. Your belly aching won't change a darn thing. So, why persist? Seriously? What do you hope to accomplish by it?

I can love the program and dislike the coach. It ain't difficult. I abhor the negative attention he continually brings to the university. I think retaining him as head coach is a mistake. But I hope we win every game next year. However, I'll be shocked, stunned, and flabbergasted if next year is different than this season.

Well...at least you get to keep your nanny/housekeeping position for another year.

If Bob Devaney had the same media coverage that Bo had, he'd be considered an embarrassment to the university for his outbursts. Funny how that worked out, huh? Bo is target practice all year for droves of fans and the national media and the second he shows any frustration he's an embarrassment. Ridiculous.

I'm embarrassed because our team sucks mostly. And we just lost to f'ing Iowa.

Some people don't have the capacity to understand how you can support one part of the program but not another. I guess if we had a national champion team, but one of the players assaulted a bunch of people, we would all have to rally around that guy too BECAUSE YOU GOTTA GET BEHIND THE TEAM, JERKS

Would hate to see these people run a company...

"Well THIS PART of the company is good, so lets not improve this other part that is hurting us."

Very narrow minded.

I don't care. I don't care at all about what might have happened if Bob Devaney were head coach now (he also might have been smart enough to reign in his antics in the modern era). He's not the coach now. He was coach over 40 years ago.

And thats not even taking into account the change in culture. There is not a single coach from 40 years ago who could do things exactly as they did and rise above a GA level.
