#s are important to these guys. I remember in HS I made sure I had # 84 - the old Viking wide receiver Gene Washington. I could never catch as well as he did however. I was more of a blocking TE instead of a fleet footed WR - except for a couple plays where I set up wide. But the jersey # means a lot and it becomes a real source of pride if it is tied back to a dad's # or other relative or a favorite pro that they want to imitate.

Reminding me of Baker Steinkhuler. Both from Nebraska, both were projected to play offensive tackle but want(ed) to play defense, both #55. Wonder if he'll be as good or better.

The Peter brothers also wore #55 to greatness. They are who I think of when I see the #55.

Well TJ Alum, he was a great kickoff returner. And a good RB. But certainly not in the top 10.
