Okay folks, off to the Omaha recruiting dinner. Hopefully get some pics and commentary.
$3.50 quit your crying where I live it's $4.50 - $5.00.ALright just got back from the Omaha recruiting dinner. DaveH got some decent pics (still a beginner). Entertaining night with some nice people.
Oh yeah they had some beer there, but try $3.50 a pop. Yeah, we didn't have to many of those.
Got to meet most of the coaches, except for Watson and Wagner, I think. Watson of all the coaches should have stayed behind to talk with people.
Every coach had a chance to speak about their recruits in there specific positions. Watson, Cosgrove and Blake got the biggest hands. That was until Callahan got to the stage. A standing ovation for about a minute.
Cosgrove stayed he's very happy to be a Husker and the fans showed there support.
Callahan had the classic quote of the night,"Well I finally found out how to get patience in Nebraska, ...........W-I-N!!!!!" (He also said something about Cosgrove and how he was dangling that Minnesota Vikings contract while the last play of the Alamo Bowl was underway...Dave help me out here.)
Through and through the coaches and football personal commented numerous time on the support they have received throughout their time in Nebraska and can't say enough about the fan support and look forward to another sold out spring game. The fans make a difference!!!!!!!!
To me it's just not worth it anymore, I grew up in Jersey, I know the beer prices your talking about.$3.50 quit your crying where I live it's $4.50 - $5.00.ALright just got back from the Omaha recruiting dinner.
