Recruiting v Coaching

If I had to pick one for the college game, I would go with talent because the talent gap is so large between the top tier teams and the bottom half of division one. In the pros I would take coaching, but both are neccessary to accomplish what we want, a national championship.
The talent isn't that far apart anymore with the scholarship rules. Sure there is some but anyone can about beat anyone now adays in division 1. Thats whey we have to play maine.
This isn't the NFL, there is no cap and there aren't free agents. If you think there's parity in college football you're completely daffy.

you can have all the talent in the nation, if you cant apply it youll lose. example of good coaching, team work, and a rushing/option based offense that works is navy last year. all the academies work with less talent than most schools and still manage to compete with alot of the sucessful schools. they may get blown out by FSU or Miami or whoever, but they have limited talent levels and still have good years against some ranked teams. my point is youve gotta have both before you can win a NC, if your short one ingredent your chances of making it are slim.
