Red Field

The ncaa needs to step in and step in fast. As mentioned before it is an advantage to the home team. If the NCAaA doesn't step in soon schools will do it for the advantage. Imagine Clemsons orange field, ksates purple field, or the hidous color of brwn that wyoming wears on field turf.
So then the NCAA should ban green uniforms (Oregon, Baylor, Tulane, etc.) as well?

We live in an age of asthetics. TV has dictated that football needs to be played on a field where the players don't get dirty. This is a load of crap. Football is a game that is played in the fall and early winter. It's a game that is played by those that are Tough SOB's. I remember playing on field that were basically frozen, 1/3 grass and 2/3 dirt. The wounds that hurt the most were the one's that came from getting down into a three point stance and jamming your left fist into frozen, gravel filled, dirt.

The only color a football field should be is green. Period, done, nuff said.
