Mentions: Courtney Love, Marcus Newby, Boaz Joseph, Drake Martinez, AJ Natter, David Knevel, Paul Thurston, David Whitaker, Greg Hart and Adam Taylor....

Some quotes I like...

My Favorite! About Courtney Love- “He’s a big dude. And he’s an old-school linebacker, no gloves, no tape. He’s going to come at you, he’s going to put his helmet on your chin and he’s going to hit you, and you’re going to feel it. He’s a solid, solid dude.”

About Marcus Newby- And Marcus Newby is one of the most athletic linebackers I’ve seen in awhile. Moves great laterally, sideline to sideline.

About Knevel- "He gets a stronger upper body, he's going to be a special player," Garrison said last month. "That's exciting, man. He's something else. He certainly has a lot of talent. He has a big future ahead of him."

and another- “Oh, my gosh, the ceiling’s the limit. The kid is 300-some pounds and he barely lifted before he got here,” Sirles said. “I’ve seen him grow leaps and bounds since he’s been here.

Even though not a RS, this about Sterup- "And even though he’s not one of the (redshirt) guys, but a guy I think is going to be a huge impact player here next year is Zach Sterup. Zach Sterup is going to become an all-conference tackle here by the time he’s out of here. Where he’s gotten from where he first came here to where he is now is 100-times-fold.”

Adam Taylor- “He runs hard, physical, he runs downhill,” said senior defensive back Ciante Evans. “He’s been giving us a good look all year.”

Plus 1 OP. coach em up Bo and Co. The are supposed to be better football players when they leave here. Tired of hearing about young talent and not seeing it develop.

Any specific players u think have not developed or just a general statement that our staff doesn't develop players well. I think we will see the ability to develop talent get better bc the talent coming in isgetting better.

Nah. I just like to say these coaches don't develop talent just to stack the bricks against Bo because I think he's a dumbf$$k.

But ya, plus 1 to you because I agree. The better they are coming in, the better they seem to be going out. Funny how that works huh, we seem to take the good ones and just try not to f#*k em up too bad.

I'm really excited to see how much Adam Taylor can contribute next season. Nobody is graduating so he will have to fight for his reps. With Newby not really living up to expectations (especially holding onto the ball), it will be fun to see how much Taylor pushes him for the 3rd string spot having sat out a year.

We're gonna win so many Heismans!!

Aside from redshirt status, I say unheralded Gabe Miller. He was a true freshman. No hiccup so far and perfect snapper every play. Sam Foltz agreed.
