Regarding the many dropped INT's...

Not getting down on the D, since they played the best game so far this year.

My question is, does Bo and Carl get on them for the many missed opportunities, or just go with the praise in handing out the blackshirts and not addressing this? It was definitely aggravating watching a sure pick 6 and then some go by.

And if this is boohoo whining on my part, lemme know...

 
I don't think a dropped ball is something you can get on the Defense for. You can get on the WR's for dropping balls, but not the DB's.

But I do think it's something that will be mentioned to them.

 
5? Are you counting the ones Dennard went up for? The one inside the 5 (Green?) should've been an INT. I don't remember any others that weren't either off deflections or battling a receiver who may have gotten a hand on it too. What were the other ones?

 
I am thinking the Stafford, one before half is the only one that could be nitpicked over. The others would have been very tough catches. Stafford had the easiest six of his life with the convoy he had in front of him.

 
Now that the receivers are starting to catch the ball it was bound to balance out somewhere...although I hope SJB's injury isn't serious because I think he can rack up the INTs like Josh Bullock.

 
I like to use my philosophy on this subject. It's the same philosphy I express verbally when watching the game. "For the love of all that is sacred will you catch the damn ball Stafford. Crying OUT LOUD MAN! Maybe we can get Niles Paul out here and he can show you how to not catch the ball. J^$*** F&^%ing Ch8&t Man! YOu gotta catch those!!! F9&%! "

Which is coincidentally very close to what my philosphy is when a reciever drops that damn ball.,

So it's very easy. If you have an interception in your hands. Catch the damn ball. It's easy.. Just catch and hold on to it. Don't run, do not pass go and collect 500dollars. Just catch it first and then run.. Catch it if it's in your hands.. Just do it. Simple. DO IT NOW!

 
Other than the drop in the first half, BK played lights out. He was money in the 3rd quarter and has been since he got himself back in the lineup. He brings so much to this team in all areas I think laying off him would be the right move.

 
That's the kind of stuff that separates us from LSU, BAMA, etc. Those elite defenses make those plays. Not a fair comparison, but it's true.

 
I think that if our defense gives up only 3 points and 187 yards, this seems like a pretty silly complaint to me. The D played their asses off today, lets give them a little credit. They finally gave a blackshirt-worthy performance.

 
^^^^^ on the other hand, there is a chance that if all these potential INTs were caught... the Blackshirts would have pitched a shut out lol
