Report: Missouri's Pinkel to Resign After Season

Sucks he has to retire this way. He has been the best coach at Mizzou by a mile.

Pelini to Mizzou?

That's too bad. It's sad any time someone has to quit what they love doing because of something so bad.

I have a good friend with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He has had the disease for 10 years now, and every few years a tumor re-appears, and he needs either radiation or chemo. He leads a very normal life except for the periods interrupted by the chemo treatment. Good luck to Pinkel.

I unfortunately read a Southern Fried Dufus on Facebook who insinuated he was a p###y. ie. he caved in to the negros and now this?

My Dad had that cancer for 14 and then died at 63. I can not fathom running a major college football program with it. It almost always comes back. You do not cure it as far I know. You try to manage it.

Best of luck in the recovery coach. I wonder if this is a recent diagnosis or if he has been fighting it for some time?

My dad has been in remission from Non-Hodgkins lymphoma for 7 years. Here is to hoping it never comes back.

He's been the face of Mizzou for a long time. The heart and soul driving the program. Prayers and thoughts for him. God Bless

I just buried a good friend that I loved dearly who died from lymphoma. I pray his results are better.

Fight hard.
