Reserve Spring Game tickets now!!!!

Tickets for Nebraska’s April 16 Red-White Spring Game are available now at Huskers.com. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance of the contest to avoid long lines on game day at Memorial Stadium. Last year’s spring game drew a record 61,417 fans to Memorial Stadium.

The spring game will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Prices for spring game tickets are $10 for reserved club-level seating; $5 for adults; $3 for youth (high school and under); $3 for seniors (60 and over); free to children 6-and-under; free to UNL students, faculty and staff with identification; and free to youth who take the Drug Free Pledge at halftime. All seats other than the club-level tickets will be general admission.

Fans who buy spring game tickets online at Huskers.com will have an opportunity to win one of two great prizes. One on-line customer will win either two tickets to the Oct. 29 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma game or an autographed football from Coach Callahan. For every ticket purchased online, fans will receive a $5 voucher off any one adidas item of $20 or more at Huskers Authentic. Tickets purchased in advance at Huskers.com will be mailed in advance of the game. In addition to tickets being available on-line, fans may also call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-8 BIG RED to purchase tickets.

With all stadium repair and waterproofing complete, Nebraska’s potential spring game attendance will be back to full capacity for the first time since 1993, meaning a crowd larger than last year’s record gathering can be accommodated.

spring game tickets and the reserve seats are already sold out via ticket office :WTH :WTH :WTH
I went and checked and its the reserved tickets that are gone. There are still plenty of $5 general admission tickets available.

There's also going to be a Letterman golf game. This is something that is key to recruiting. NU has to get these guys back on campus. On top of that were suppose to have over a 100 recruits in town for the game. How's that for an 18 year old, rubbing shoulders with NFl All-Pro's, chattin with Tommy Frazier. Great idea.

Big Red Report: Huskers committed to attend are Mike Minter and Mike Rucker
A large contingent of former Husker football players will converge on Lincoln for Spring Game Weekend on April 15-16. Among the players on hand for the Red-White Spring Game will be a group of former Nebraska players currently playing in the National Football League.
Patriots guard Hochstein looks forward to return

Former Husker Russ Hochstein, a member of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, said he's heard that at least 20 ex-Huskers will be on hand for the April 16 Red-White Spring Game at Memorial Stadium.

Hochstein, a 6-foot-4, 305-pound guard from Hartington, will be among them.

"First of all, I enjoy coming back to Nebraska, and the Spring Game is a fun tradition," Hochstein said Saturday. "It's always good to see the former players who are coming back."

Hochstein, who spent the last three-plus seasons with the Patriots, said he hasn't heard the buzz that the team is considering former NU middle linebacker Barrett Ruud as an early round selection in the April 23-24 NFL Draft.

"The draft is such a crapshoot, you just never know," Hochstein said.

Hochstein, who lives in Plainville, Mass., was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 2001 draft. He was obtained by the Patriots in October of 2002 when they signed him to the practice squad. He's made six career starts for the club while also seeing action as a fullback in goal-line situations and a tight end in three-tight end sets.

"When I first got into the league, I was just trying to stay alive and make a team," he said. "Then my goals changed, and I wanted to become a starter."
