Returning Experience - NU 3rd in B1G

That's a bit different than ESPN's figures, which place us at #3 in the country. Wonder what the methodologies are, exactly - snap counts vs production, maybe?

With that said, this is my #1 reason for optimism this season. Last year, I said we were too young at too many positions for the kind of breakout season some were talking about, and on the whole the season played out about the way I expected. This year should be significantly different...

Generally experience is a beneficial thing in all aspects. Hoping we see it on the field. Per ESPN 4th toughest schedule in the country. A great litmus test for where we are and where we will need to be.

Rhule's strategy seems to have been to focus on getting a crew of veterans together for this year and then go all-in on next year's HS class. Question is, how much experience will we have in 2027? Like how many juniors vs seniors do we have this year?

Just going by how they are listed on the roster we have 18 seniors and 30 juniors for 2026. Also have a ton of sophomores, so we will still have a lot of upperclassmen in 2027.
