Ok...I'm excited about the basketball season and am craving good games.

So far, we haven't played anyone who we can really claim was a good test. I know Rhode Island has had good teams in the past. Last year they only won 14 games. However, that almost matches the wins they have had over the two previous seasons combined. This year, they are 2-0 just like us. They have blown out both of their opponents like we have.

Question.....is this going to be a game that really tests our team? It's on the road.

If we win this game, is it something we can hang our hat on and learn how good our team is?

 
Rhode Island will probably be the most physical team we play out of the three. I'm concerned about us giving up too many second chance opportunities, but feel that we'll handle everything thrown our way and come out victorious.

We can always hang our hat on a win, but beating Rhode Island obviously isn't the goal of this team.

 
Ohio State beat UMass Lowell by 37 points and Rhode Island beat them by 16 points. If the national rankings are even close to being accurate (Ohio State ranked 20 and Nebraska ranked 21), we should beat them. However, if we get off to a slow start like we did in our first two games, beating Rhode Island in their arena may be somewhat more difficult than it should.

 
It will be a test on the road. These are VERY important games when it comes to the committee. Rhode island will be decent this year. We need to win. They were 14-18 last year and lost their leading scorer. However they have a new guy that's pretty good, and another guy from last year has really stepped up. I think their arena only holds like 6,000 so it won't be a huge crowd but those small arenas seem to be very intimidating to play at

Does this mean Coxhub.com is not free or Dish is not free either?

I quickly looked at my Dish app for the game and I didn't see channel 438.

Most of the time it is, how many other games won't be televized? Won't be top expensive.
 
We can't afford to take the first half of the game off against Rhode Island. We're better than them and should win, but we don't want to be spotting them 15 points and have to work out of a hole.
