Rhule or Fickel?

I have brought up Paul Chryst before.  What would it take to get him as OC here?  He seems to get the most

of his QBs, RBs, and OL.  Rhule would win a lot of favor ditching Satt for Chryst.

I’ve had 24 hours to think about this. Rhule is not going anywhere, he’s too early in his contract.  But he needs to make changes.  Foley is obvious and an easy one.  We are getting nothing out of our ST except punting.  Everything else ST is a disaster costing us games.  Then the next one is Satt.  We have a 5 star QB and we need an offense that fits him.  Rhule is in charge of the product on the field and the offense and ST are not built to win, they are a bad product.  We have some pieces to build with, but news flash so does everyone else. So we have to outpace them with development and recruiting and we are doing neither.  I’d also grab a stud recruiter as well.  I’ve always said recruiting in the 20th ranking behind peers in the B1G is not going to cut it.  And we gotta get better guys out of the portal.

Go read the article I posted in Husker bullsh*t post and Collin Miller says that Husker fans were leaving at halftime meaning bye bye support.  Nebraska shot themselves in the foot when they hired Matt Rhule and now we are going to have to sit here and watch them suck no thank you.  The product is too painful to watch.

But you can’t jettison a whole staff every couple of years.  But if Rhule is not committed to the best coaches, best recruiters, best development, best players than what are we doing. That is why I think we’ll see more accountability at the end of the season with staff changes and hitting the portal more.  
 

Plus who can we realistically get?  I think we can get major upgrades at some of the coaching positions.

I just don't see it bc Rhule decided to pick a guy who has never been a great OC anywhere he has been to come here of all places.  What in the f*** made him even think that is a good decision to hire him or even all the other coaches?  Yes they may be good people but good people don't win football games.  He hired a wr coach with no experience so he is learning has he goes and he can't go to recruits and tell them look at my record of success at this position.  It goes for every coach except Tony White but even we see now defense has no pressure to get to the qb.  It makes me more upset every time I think about it on what decisions have been made for this football team.
