Rumor is Riley may have had a meeting with a Portland journalist in which he discussed these " ribbon boards" before ever really making any official announcement. Apparently the old boards were too "high maintenance". I expect some extreme backlash from this.

Let him have it Huskerboard. I'm tired of these coaches discussing things as personal as the maintenance department of our beloved Memorial Stadium!

Yep. Stats are on the big board above North Stadium. The ribbon boards on the facade of the West Stadium balcony has the out of town scoreboard plus more stats. These pretty much have to be advertising.
