rivals freshman all american team

Congdon being a "3 :star " is kind of misleading. He was the #1 or 2 rated kicker, and Rivals only rates kickers upto 3 :star

I have loved Turner from the day he said yes. Even though he was "only a 3 :star " he had the size and speed that reminded me of past great NU rush ends like Wistrom, Rucker, D Jones, and D Harris.

Also like a couple of guys like Roark, Covey, and Souder. Guys like these 4 are the cornerstone of past great NU teams. Dont know if all of these guys will "pan out" but I like what I hear, so far.

So much for the analysis of the "recruiting experts."

depends who you listen to because Lemming was very high on Turner ... said he was an outright steal from Tennessee ... better than Hendersen ...

Actually Turner was rated much higher on a number of different recruiting sites, and I believe he was Mr Tennessee. Fulmer was also furious that we got him, and alot of Tennessee's boosters made a big deal about it, so I wouldnt neccessarily call him low profile.

I was surprised that the kid from Penn State was not on the list. He probally did not have the recieving numbers as the other kids but he was a true playmakers for that team.
