Roasted Shrimp Cocktail:
*** This is how you improve on shrimp cocktail. Roast the shrimp, don't boil and prepare a good Spicy Cocktail Dipping Sauce.
For The Shrimp:
2 lbs.-(12-15 Count)-Shrimp
1 T. Good Olive Oil
1/2 Tsp. Kosher Salt-(Opt.)
1/2 Tsp. Freshly Ground Black Pepper-(Opt.)
1 Pkg. Amazing Taste Seafood Seasoning
***Or You Can Omit Amazing Taste Seafood Seasoning and just use salt and ground black pepper.
For The Sauce:
1/2 Cup Heinz Chili Sauce
1/2 Cup Ketchup
3 T. Prepared Horseradish
2 Tsp. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Tsp. Tabasco
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on.
Rinse shrimp under cold water in colander; pat dry with a paper towel.
Put shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle Amazing Taste Seasoning over shrimp.
Place shrimp on a sheet pan with the Olive Oil, salt, and pepper and spread them in 1 layer. Roast for 8-10 minutes, just until pink and firm and cooked through; set aside to cool.
For The Sauce:
Combine The Chili Sauce, Ketchup, Horseradish, Lemon Juice, Worcestershire Sauce, and Tabasco.
Put in a covered serving dish; refrigerate.
Serve as a dip with the shrimp.
