Rose Bowl gets ESPN deal through 2026

Nothing really changes with this, but it was nice to see that the game will always be on New Years Day, with the exception of years when Jan. 1 is a Sunday.

Oh...and glad that it will be shown on ESPN International. That helps me, and I'm sure a few others.

I guess I don't feel the significance of the Rose Bowl yet. And probably I won't until we've been in it a couple of times. I feel like an outsider looking in right now.

Nah, neither do I. But eventually it'll have some relevance, if for no other reason than just playing in it.

For 70 or so years in the Big 10 you won the conference and played in the Rose Bowl - or you sat home. Only the conference champ was allowed to go to a bowl game.
