Cornerback scholarship count (6): Seniors — Chris Jones, Joshua Kalu, Boaz Joseph. Sophomores — Lamar Jackson, Eric Lee. Redshirt freshman — DiCaprio Bootle.

Safety scholarship count (7): Senior — Kieron Williams. Juniors — Antonio Reed, Aaron Williams. Sophomores — Avery Anderson, JoJo Domann. Redshirt freshmen — Tony Butler, Marquel Dismuke.

I think we're gonna miss Gerry back there QBing the defense. But the thing is, we have two or three other safeties on the roster who are plenty good enough to start. So I think we'll be just fine at safety. At both safety spots, actually.

As for recruiting, how can we *not* have any DB recruits right now? Surely there must be plans to pick up one or two with all the remaining spots we have. Don't we need a couple in each class to keep things balanced out?
