I'm hoping it was just sore. Hopefully they'll put ice on it and he'll be ready for the next game.

Helu is all heart running it in for the TD like that.

 
Looked like a collarbone to me. Had enough of them to know the look and that it can feel fine one minute and hurt like hell the next.

Hope I am wrong.

 
I am wondering if he was injured in the first quarter also because Burkhead saw a lot of early playing time.

 
Need another back to emerge for depth. Need a pounding running game to dominate along with the Big 12's best DEFENSE!!!

Totally agree. Looks like a collar bone on that long run the way he grabbed it after the TD. If Bo says "It's a Splinter" we know it's broke.

Yep. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. Hope he's OK. We need him for the rest of conference play. Burkhead is a beast but he will not do it on his own.

 
I've had a broken collar bone and believe you me I wouldn't have been running off the field or carried the ball on another play. Maybe it depends on the severity and such.
