Rumor has it...

The downside to playing younger guys is that they are going to make mistakes at a higher rate than a older player. But at this point, do you really have a choice?

This is Daniels' first trip to Lincoln. Don't think he won't make mistakes.

We flat-out need some of that youthful energy and enthusiasm that Thenarse, Culbert, and Young bring to the table. I'm hoping they are on the field for at least 40 percent of the defensive snaps...

It will work out better for us. It's about time these new guys started seeing more game time. I know freshman make mistakes but they got to get their feet wet sometime. They should have been getting more playing time much earlier in the season.
:yeah I agree. Why didn't these youngin's get more pt in the preseason when we were kicking the sh!t out of Troy or Nichols St. I believed they had already burned their redshirt so what is there to loose, maybe give up a td or 2. But on the other hand they could gain valuable game experience.
These guys did get a ton of PT against Nicholls St. and some against Troy. The #1 defense played most of the game against Troy.

Well if this is true those guys should be pumped up because they actually get to play a lot in a big time game!!!! This is when these guys can step up use their adrenaline and make some big plays!!!!!

All three of those guys have been getting more and more PT over the last couple weeks. We need a big day from the secondary. MU has become more or less one dimensional as the season has gone on.

We know we can stop their running game so it's up to the secondary to dig deep and make some plays. If we can get the running game going for us we own the TOP!!!! That's going to be the deciding factor along with turnovers!!!
