Say what you want about the man, love him or hate him, the man is a legend. Bowden made FSU football. He's the last of a dying breed. The coaching staffs are getting younger these days. Long gone are the days of staying 20+ yrs. at the same program.
I felt like FSU jilted Bowden by giving him an ultimatum to either retire or take a lesser role in the program. He should've been able to retire on his own terms the same way Joe Paterno will. But such as in life, nothing is fair.
Thanks Mr. Bowden for all you've done for college football. It wasn't always fun losing to your team, but I always had great respect for how you coached the game. Best of luck to you and yours.
