Sam Keller

Who ever pointed out that Sam Keller "tore up" LSU, remember that Hurricane Katrina just hit. Players were essentially refugees, no wonder he had a good game, LSU had way more to deal with IRL than a game against ASU. Also, remember Sam Keller is the guy who threw a cup at another student who took is parking spot and then was cited for disturbing the peace. Landlord aka Sam Keller, did you forget you got cited for that incident?

All I know is that he was not allowed to return to the ASU team as being a cancer. He shows up here, our top defensive players quits playing and we have a team that quit. One common denominator. Felt that way then, still do. All was not the roses seem some want to believe. This was a power move by Clownahan to get an old buddy a favor. This kid is held in high regard by some fans and Taylor is thrown under the bus at every opportunity. How unfortunate.

We really have no idea of what the team thought of Taylor, speculation on all parts. But the most important part of the team, decided he should play nearly every down, injured or not. I feel that was not in the best interest of Taylor, but Bo may have felt it was his only chance with what he had on the side line. Tough situation for a coach to be in no question. Taylor is gone, and I am hoping there is a totally fair and unbiased approach to the new kids playing QB. I think Bo moved forward this year on playing the talent, and not quite as heavily on the knowledge side. In college that is what is needed. It is such an emotional game, having fire on the field seems more important to me. Really looking forward to this year. I have a feeling we are going to see some changes in every aspect. Enough time has passed, experience gained for Bo to know what works and does not work.
Great post. +1 and I can't agree more than I do. Especially about Bo playing talent over knowledge, but I also question, as you did in another post, if this was due to desperation or choice. We may not have had a lot of options. Fact is, once it clicked, it paid off.

I agree on the experience, but I think it most likely will help Bo more than anything. That is what I am hoping. Getting the youth and the talent on the field forced him to trust the youth, which I think he did. That will make it easier to happen in the future.
Not happy about the season, but I think there are positives to be taken from it in the future.
+1. Let's pray he learned a thing or two this year. Bo has to realize, the best teaching tool is to get these kids out there. Many of these kids could have come into this year with at least "some" experience if Bo had "trusted" them a bit more. As we could see, the lack of experience shined through a bit in the early goings, but once those guys got comfortable, it was fun to watch. In the game of college football, its always next man up. You never have as much time as you want. If the guy has the talent, get him in there and let him prove himself. It appeared to me a lot of kids stepped up to the challenge this past season.
