Sark taking a "Leave of absence"

Who does USC go after for a coach next year? Sark is going to need time away and slowly work his way back into coaching.

I hope he is able to get his life back on track.

Sark's life has been an absolute mess for a while. Not sure if the binge drinking came first, or the divorce, but basically the players and coaches are scared for him to go home to nothing every night.

Hope he gets this turned around. Don't want to see that for anyone.

showed up drunk to the facility on Sunday. indefinitely suspended!

That's kind of crazy. Hope Sark comes out of this okay. My first reaction is, "How on earth does a coach come back from this?" But the compassionate response taken by USC seems appropriate. Probably many of us can empathize because we know or know of someone who has faced similar personal struggles. Nevermind the USC football program, they'll be OK regardless.

I hope coaches don't use this to negativity recruit against USC, parents worry enough they don't need some coach making comments about "are you wanting to trust your son to a program that had this happen" granted I see some coaches doing it anyway

"Nobody will want to coach there if they fire him this quickly"
There's just a little bit of difference when a coach is fired for cause such as repeatedly showing up drunk to work or work-related events (which sounds as if that may not happen if he gets the help he apparently needs) and firing a coach 6 games after taking over a program because he's lost some games and a portion of the fans come unglued.
