I haven’t made this!
Here is a nice savory vinegar based bbq sauce/marinade. It has a bite to it, but, is also very flavorful
Great on pork, chicken, eggs, just about anything you can imagine.
Ingredients:
2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dehydrated minced onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup tomato or V8 juice
Place all ingredients into a 2 quart sauce pan, stir to combine and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Kill the heat and allow to cool completely before pouring into sterilized jars or bottles.
Can be used the same day but is best after allowing the flavors to meld over 48 hours.
Will keep in the fridge for up to 2 months.
