I am probably going to get railed for this.

But I wanted to bring up another factor that might be killing this team.

Our schedule is killing us. If you look at the injurys and the lack of a buy week a loss of this is inevitable. I think the ad and callahan need to look at this in the future and try to incorporate a buy week earlier. Our buy week doesn't come until thanksgiving

 
This is tough because of the new 12 game schedule rule. With the 8 teams we have to play in the conference, it really hurts us since we always have the bye before the day after Thanksgiving game. That's the only time for them to have a bye.

But yes, it is hurting us. Guys don't have that extra rest time.

 
The bye is pretty late this year. However, bye can work either way. It'd be nice if you could choose what week you wanted a bye when you are already in the season but that's not feasible. Just pick a week and go I guess.

 
what would be better off for our football team???

Playing Nicholls St., or having a bye week thrown in there?????

id rather move up troy to week 2 and have a bye after non conference......

 
I think it's pretty late as well.............It's almost like why even give us one when we only have one more regular season game after that???

The bye is very much an issue IMO especially when it comes to some of your starters being hurt and not having more time to heal up before possibly re-injuring.

I'd like to see the bye week definitely after non-conference and maybe one or two games after conference play has started.
