Scoring differential

Was just watching The B1G Show on BTN.

The top 5 teams in the country in scoring differential are (not sure if I have the order right):

OSU

Wisconsin

Maryland

Alabama

Penn State

So, obviously these are good teams. But, how much of this is because of who they’ve played.

Interesting that we play 3 of them.

The thought before fore the season was that our schedule set up pretty well for us.

Its going to be interesting to see how it turns out.

Ohio State and Wisconsin are legitimately good/great teams.  Maryland ran up big huge scores in their first 2 non-conference games, and then crapped the bed and lost to Temple.  I think Maryland is better than they have been in the past, but still not good.

Yes...osu and Wisconsin appear to be the toughest teams we play. If we can hang with or beat them, I’ll be happy.

we need to beat everyone else. Then, play to have a chance to beat these teams in the fourth.

Even if we lose to these two, a 9-3 season would be a big improvement.

Playing cupcakes and winning the Scoring Differential Bowl doesn’t mean much.

Does it mean they’d beat Alabama or Clemson? I think no. It’s a sucky award.
