The sky is the limit for Valentine, who could be a legitimate NFL prospect down the road. What it really might come down to more than anything is how much the redshirt sophomore wants it. The Illinois native looked to be to a slimmed down version of himself in the spring, which appeared to help with his first step on the line. Starting six times last season as a freshman, Valentine registered 21 tackles and a sack.

Four seniors and a junior on the list. And sophomore Vincent Valentine. It's looking like he could end up being a great one. The guy has the potential, that's for sure.

I think Collins is going to be a good one as well.

I think Collins has shown more on the field than Valentine, but Valentine is that NFL caliber DT. Both are studs and we are lucky they are here IMO.

Valentine needs to get better....he was just so so last season....poooo tential!

We are loaded with potential at DT. Sky is the limit for 2-3 with several other high quality players. Just need them to live up to potential and avoid injuries. If that happens we could see the 09 defense return.
