Scouting Mizzou

Watching Mizzou play Texas AM right now and so far I see a few weaknesses we could exploit. I don't think they guard the deep ball to well and they can stop the run, but have problems stopping big "punishing" backs aka Cody Glenn :hellloooo Anyway this is a big game right now A&m is about to go up on them and man would this be nice for us if Mizzou would lose before we play them.

The only running play that I have seen Missouri run is a stretch play to try to get Temple to the edge. They don't have the personal to consistantly run up the middle.

P.S. Temple just fumbled for the second time as I type this.

They dont even try to run up the middle., definatly limits thier game. The MU defense looks very vulnerable too.

I agree that we should have no trouble getting into the endzone, but can we keep them out of it. I just seen portions of the first half, but what I did see is Missou moving the ball at will.........

:bonez :bonez :bonez

vs an A&M defense that has been beyond horrible for the last couple years. It is really hard to read what an offense can do when a defense has been that weak against the pass for the last couple years.

Oddly enough, A&M has exposed the MU defense, and the A&M defense has shut down the MU offense in the second half. The only MU points in the second half(with under 7 min as i am typing) is a safty from a bad A&M shotgun snap.

Hmmmmmm lets see ball control, eat the clock and keep mizzou offense off the field ................. Ya I think the skers can pull that off.

First post but long time Husker fan and reader here. Both A&M and Mizzou are beatable and I consider them must wins if we are to capture the North. I feel it will be tougher to travel to A&M then to beat Mizzou at Home. I was cheering for A&M in this one. Any losses that Mizzou has will help us win the North, which by looking at the polls is our best shot to get to a BCS game...ala Big 12 Champions.

Agreed, they are both games we need to win. Especially Missouri since it's a head to head game with a team that's in our own division.
