Florida was ranked #2 in the AP poll. I guess they we using those rankings to hype it up a little more.

Yep. I just thought it was funny that we had yet another "I hate the BCS" statement when it wasn't the BCS at all that had Florida #2. And note that Florida didn't beat out Texas for #2 in the final BCS poll by all that much.
