SEC SEC SEC

It's good for the conference. A&M will play in a BCS game, Cap 1, or Cotton. We are a hot ticket right now, playing some of the country's best football and will probably have a Freshman Heisman winner. It's an exciting team with a rabid fanbase. Bowls want us...badly.
Manziel isn't winning the Heisman. Should he? Definitely. But will he? Nope. RGIII won it and didn't play in the NC, they can't do that two years in a row.

So, who else?

Maccarron? Teo?

Both have very pedestrian numbers overall. There isn't a player in the country as electrifying as JFF. He broke Cam's record in 2 less games while sitting out 8 quarters. The field is weak this year, but I still think he takes it.

No BCS for the Aggies. Bama or UGA and Florida. Sorry! Florida beat you guys and will be ranked #3 in the BCS after the CCGs.

It's always been an award for big stats guy who plays against crap defenses. But if they'll ever make an exception it should be for guys like Suh or Te'o, when everyone knows said player would demolish Mr Spread in the Big12 guy.

I haven't done any research into it but currently the SEC has 6 teams with at least 10 wins. With 14 teams now, I'd guess that is the first time that has ever happened in a conference?
First time a conference scheduled Presbyterian and Georgia Southern?
What do you expect? Everyone can't pad their schedule with ACC teams. There are only so many to go around.
