Perlman knew he was leaving the chancellor job, yet allowed Eichorst to hire Riley without consulting anyone. Why did Eichorst get so much deference? Where any boosters or rulers of the universe ok with Eichorst pulling this stunt? I am just so bewildered. I don;t even know how it got this bad, Pelini hated his life here, and it was probably a big relief for him when he was fired.
