Shatel: Revenge isn't worth tarnishing reputation

Not sure if Beebe has to say anything .....but it would be great to see him swallow his pride and say something along the lines of "We are so proud to hand this trophy over to the 2010 Big 12 Champions...the Nebraska Cornhuskers!" and as he lies to the entire country with that statement.....all of Nebraska smiles and sleeps better than they have in weeks.

GO BIG RED!!

Obviously anyone who wants Bo to "spike the trophy" is going to be sorely disappointed. With T.O. right there we will take the trophy with class. I think that would be the ultimate middle finger to the Big 12. Just accept the trophy and leave as if to say, "We aren't gonna get all worked up on the national stage over a conference that everybody knows is a joke."

 
I hope that Beebe has to hand over the trophy, and BO says something

"Thank you Mr. Beebe, we appreciate being able to bring the last legitimate big 12 trophy back to Lincoln where it belongs"

 
I'm just damn glad we're playing the Sooners for the last roundup. It will be a classic and that's perfectly appropriate imo. I'll always miss the Big8 as it was a "real" conference.

I'm happy with any result as long as we give it our best shot.

 
The Huskers and the Sooners in the final ccg..... Regardless of the outcome we've already won!! It no longer has anything to do with the Big 12 other than the print on the trophy. If we win I would like to see the players put on hats that say 2010 Big 8 Champions!!
