Shepard's Pie:
2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1-16 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
3 cans Golden Mushroom Soup
Topping:
4 Cups Mashed Potatoes
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Saute onion until soft.
Add garlic ground beef until browned; drain.
Pour into 9x13-in. baking dish.
Mix in seasonings; add vegetables and soup; stir well.
Flatten out top.
Layer mashed potatoes on top like frosting.
End with thin layer of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese to top.
Cover lightly with aluminum foil, then remove during last 10 minutes.
Bake for 30 minutes.
