Should Cross have redshirted?

I think when we hit the conference schedule he will be needed, and possibly moved to a full back, him leading, with the opportunity to spring him on them occasionally would be a great backfield.

My guess is if you ask the kid if he wanted to play this year, he would say yes. Up to the kid it seems to me, if he has the ability, which he obviously does.

 
I say no, he has had a solid year thus far, and sure it hasn't been against great talent but still the kid has been an absolute beast running people over. Remember Rex will be gone next year and after Braylon and Ameer battle for top dog next year Imani will be used a lot, with knowing that having this year under his belt with playing quite a bit will really help his confort level next season. Now I will say since he didn't redshirt I want to see him get solid pt when we can use and make sure he's getting good carries. But with as good as the 3 guys in front of him are, it's tough.

 
He has played well. Its not like we can't recruit another running back in the next 3 years. I think he should play more at the beginning of games, beat up some of those DL and then let the rest of the 4 headed monster run past them.
