All-Conference
Sports Illustrated picked Nebraska to finish up the regular season at 9-3 (6-2) and take the North again but we get beat in the title game by Texas and face Florida State in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1

Here's how they pick the rest of the Big XII

1. Nebraska 9-3 (6-2)

2. Missouri 9-3 (5-3)

3. Kansas State 7-5 (4-4)

4. Colorado 5-7 (3-5)

5. Kansas 6-6 (2-6)

6. Iowa State 4-8 (1-7)

South

1. Texas 11-1 (7-1)

2. Oklahoma 10-2 (6-2)

3. Oklahoma State 8-4 (5-3)

4. Texas Tech 8-4 (4-4)

5. Texas A&M 8-4 (4-4)

6. Baylor 3-9 (0-8)

Bernard Jackson, WR Colorado

Marcus Watts, DB Kansas State

Coach on the Rise: Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State

Coach on the Hot Seat: Dennis Franchione, Texas A&M

I think I would give Texas A&M a bit more credit then 5th in the South. I knew Oki Lite would be better but I did not give them as much credit as SI did. Maybe I need to go back and look at a few things like the conf schedule.

ya they have franchonie on the hotseat too. deffenitly not enough credit. for goodness sake they return their qb and top two running backs their offense should be sweet.

Probably have us losing to Texas and a road game...KU or MU, more than likely MU and having them mess up elsewhere.

SI has this wrong. NO WAY KU finishes behind CU. That's just stupid. Here is my prediction for SI.

1. Nebraska

2. Missery

3. Kansas

4. Kansas State

5. Colorado

6. ISU

There it is. Save this, and do what you want with it. SI has it wrong.

What it should be

North

1 NU - 10-2 (7-1) plus win over OU in B12 CS

2 MU - having an offense and sp teams isnt enough

3 KSU - Josh will carry an otherwise meiocre team

4 KU - RB Sharp will surprise alot of people

5 CU - this is D1 football bit*hes

6 ISU - would've lost to last years CU team

South

1 OU - no QB, but they have great RB's and Bob Stoops

2 UT - McCoy's health = season

3 aTm - very good, complete team, could replace OU or UT

4 OSU - d will let them down badly and often

5 TT - Grahm is alone, Leach is an a$$

6 BU - improved, but not enough yet

WE DON'T HAVE ANY PLAYERS IN THE PLAYERS TO WATCH CATAGORY,
If I remember right, the article about that in the magazine was only the players from unranked teams, so that would explain why.

No...its because all of the player on our team are soooo bad as* that there really isn't a "STANDOUT" player to pick. They should have just simply put "Nebraska Team" LOL

Thanks for the credit guys! skersOVRsc: your predictions match mine and agree that with a couple plays going our way, could move ahead of OU and UT. Playing in Norman should be our biggest test in the south.
