Not if they end up being quality players, who gives a f#*k what the ranking was if they turn out to be starters and contributers.

Not really...They assign "values" to the players then add or subtract stars based on who "bites" on the bait. Basically it's a system to gauge how cool schools think their rating opinions are. Realistically, how the hell do you know what a class is worth till it graduates?
