Bo Pelini’s name gets mentioned most as a potential head coach. I know he enjoyed his one-season stay at Nebraska as defensive coordinator in 2003. Now the defensive coordinator at Louisiana State, Pelini has told me often that he and his family liked Lincoln. He liked the parish they attended. LSU’s loss to Kentucky on Saturday will do little to diminish Pelini’s status as one of the nation’s hottest head coaching prospects.

We know Pelini can coach defense. He has told me he would want an offense that’s multiple but favors a strong ground game.

mind you, this is *wildly* speculative on his part. personally, i see pelini coming back to nebraska when they start handing out pushpops in *hell*.

Money - Pud = potential return :) IMHO, anyway.

 
As a defensive minded coach, I think it's pretty apparent why he favors a strong running game. How many fun'n gun offenses have a great defense? You cannot have a great D if you always run a 2 minute offense! IMO, he's our next HC if we can snatch him up before $ Byrne and the A&M Aggies! Of course, Pud will have to be fired before it happens!

Big $, Big Bonus $, and big Athletic Department changes need to made for him to even consider it! How much is the University willing to offer him to get him. Nick Saban $?
