Sipple: Nebraska needs to end a conversation that's growing rather stale

Iowa assistants will come and go. The Hawkeyes will experience varying levels of success. But you can count on Ferentz, in his 19th season as the school's head coach, to emphasize physicality.
Oh, I'm sure Nebraska fans just love this conversation. I'm sure Husker players can't get enough of it. They no doubt love it the way they love a trip to the dentist. But it'll persist as long as Iowa has an upper hand on its border rival — and yes, the Hawkeyes have won three of the past four meetings.
Nebraska will keep hearing the somewhat overcooked conversation as long as the Huskers keep losing to Wisconsin, another Big Ten West Division program that prides itself on rugged play in the trenches. The Badgers are 5-1 against the Huskers since NU began play in the Big Ten in 2011.

I look forward to the day when Nebraska's current line is included in the same conversation with Wisconsin and Iowa (..gag..). Hopefully, with the younger guys and guys returning from injury they will start claiming the moniker this year.
