United Kingdom -- Snowball throwing at a school in Devon has been banned - unless the thrower has his target's permission.
Head Andrew Lovett has told pupils they must get "prior consent" from the person they are lobbing the snowball at.
Otherwise, he says it will be regarded as bullying.
According to The Sun, Mr Lovett told his students in Tiverton High School: "We react to snow in different ways.
"For the young and young at heart, it raises the spirits and gives us the chance for harmless fun - and I'm strongly in favour of harmless fun.
"So please make sure students only involve others who want to be involved in snowballing for instance..."
Local Tory MP Anthony Steen has called the ban "absurd".
But Mr Lovett bit back, saying: "People can call me a PC monster, that's fine. But I've a school to run."
