Three men have been arrested on felony drug charges after an eight-ounce cocaine brick was found outside a Clifford Avenue residence.
Luis Cheveres, 38, of 17 Galusha St.; Jose Garcia, 52, of 258 Greeley St.; and Richard Munoz, 27, of 945 N. Goodman St. have all been charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were ordered held without bail in the Monroe County Jail.
Details of the arrest were not available today, but according to court papers, Officer David Simpson said he observed a "white brick of cocaine" falling from a window at 866 Clifford Ave. shortly after 7 p.m. yesterday . Police said they determined the brick contained more than eight ounces of cocaine powder.
Simpson is a member of a street-level narcotics unit called the Special Investigations Section.
