So how many fans did we lose in the great Solich and Callahan disaster.

It was a stupid hire. It's lasted 7 years since the announcement. Callahan was a stupid hire when announced as well. Going further back is nitpicking.

11 years of this baloney is too long, but I'm still watching or streaming every single game. Even with crappy DSL high slow speed. I've even listened to games online when I couldn't watch. I'll still be here rooting for the Huskers. Sticking it out until the end of game. But man I'm not looking forward to the SSDD type of big-game results if Bo is retained. Those games are the ones that I circle with most anticipation and can't wait for the week to arrive. Then 30 minutes after kickoff it's SSDD all over again. Not 30 football clock minutes into it, but a half hour after kickoff. 11 years. 7 with Bo.

I won't walk away from the Huskers by keeping Bo. But I can't say with 100% certainty that I will be into it as much as I have been. Truthfully, the Wisconsin game a few weeks back was the dagger and games like that keep happening with Bo as Head Coach. He needs to go - NOT ME!

I follow the team and the support the kids not the coaches....That's just me.
I am pretty much in that opinion in that I want the team to win for the school and the players. I support the coaches because they lead that team. I still "root" for the team/players/coaches, but that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion that the coach should be fired if he isn't doing his job well enough.
I agree. My comment wasn't meant to say I don't think coaches shouldn't be fired. IMO, we need to clean house from the top down.....Unsure after 7 years of the same consistent issues, we will ever make it over the hump. As a person, I think Bo has a lot of character. I think that he runs a clean program, keeps the players clean on and off the field and teaches them about success after football. Conversely, that's good, but he was hired to win games not be a life coach.....

Particularly with a schedule that looks like Pelini could well start 2-2.
If that happens, Eichorst might as well get his resume ready as well.
If Bo does get another year, it will be just to bite the bullet next year as the schedule is harder and it will allow even the most delusional Bo supporter get behind getting rid of this failed coaching staff. Next year is going to be ugly no matter who the coach is.

If the worst thing happens and Bo is kept, the sellout streak ends, but the schedule isn't that tough.
Then Oregon comes in 2016 and even Minnesota laughs at us. Oh wait, they do already. THEYVE BEATEN US TWICE IN A ROW.

The sellout streak will never end, local companies will always buy up any tickets that are left.

A better coach and next year is not that bad. Nebraska has out recruited pretty much everyone on the 2015 schedule. Better talent should almost always translate to a win. But Pelini tends to play down to teams, and get killed by good ones. There is no team on next year's schedule that is unbeatable, but our undercoached team can't play well consistently enough to win them.

Even this year, there was no team we played that could not have been beaten.

2016 though, look out. By all means, let's let a Bo squad take on Oregon in Eugene.
