So I was playing flag football on base for my squadron down here in Texas and a kid on the other team was wearing a husker sweatshirt. Being the loyal fan that I am, I just had to ask if he was a husker fan....he said no and I got all confused....I asked why he was wearing it then and he said he cheers for them because his brother plays for em....I asked him his last name....Nunn.......

Playing flag football? Just thank your guardian angel that Lawrence Phillips didn't show up to play.

AH man...good ole Squadron Flag Football! I remember those days. Back in the day the Cop Squadron and the Civil Engineering Squadon were the two that had the best talent when it came to sports, no matter what base you went too. Some of those games got down right ugly, with all the smack talking, and chest bumping! Hey Darveaux...You ever been stationed over seas yet? When I was in PACAF (Korea and Guam) I was on the base Softball traveling team and we pretty much got permissive TDY's to travel around to play softball for 5 months. Pretty cool gig I must say! :)

A couple of years ago a bunch of us would get together to play football every weekend. Being cops we got pretty damn cocky and well to make a long story short we were told that we could no longer play football because to many people were getting hurt. We weren't playing flag though it was full contact. We had a couple guys with separated shoulders, twisted knees, sprained ankles. So we decided to play basketball every weekend instead...............first weekend one of the guys broke his arm!!!! Needless to say we don't do anything now......

i was playing some flag football and lawrence phillips tried to run me over with a volkswagon rabbit.

true story.
