so is VV our last guy?

Hopefully Charles Jackson will qualify to be our last recruit(in this class?) We will find out in a few weeks if he will make it up for fall ball or go the juco route.

That had nothing to do with Peat. We lost a prefered walk on and needed that extra guy. I think we got a hell of a player in Whit. Its shocking he was overlooked. We were lucky.

I'm sure you're being a smart a$$. We did go after another OL after Peat chose but I don't think it sounds like we'll end up with him. We'll use the scholarship next year.

Well... the Stanford football program is a program that is improving and is several levels ahead of NU at the moment (and has been for the past 3-5 years). And Stanford is an academic giant. That is really, really tough to compete against. Seems pretty easy to imagine.. really.

I'll bet next weeks lunch money that Standfor struggles without Luck. I look for them to drift back to the middle of the Pac over the next 2-3 years and eventually in the last 1/3 again.

seems to be a trend. whaley, dillard, now peat. does nobody like their older brothers anymore? on the bright side, we seem to be getting closer. lil' whaley barely seemed to consider us. we where in it with dillard's brother for a while. we damn near had lil' peat. so...the next talented little brother should be ours.
